Perfect your edges and increase your on-ice power. Just as ballet does for football, figure skating edge drills can greatly improve the quality of your hockey skills. Without relying on a stick for balance, the edges used are more consistent and powerful (say goodbye to unnecessary slipping!)
Cancellation Policy
Your lesson will begin at the time scheduled. Your skater should be ready with skates, helmets, gloves, and warm-up off-ice. If you are late, your lesson time may not be extended due to ice schedules, so please allow yourself enough time. Any cancellations made under 24 hours will be charged the full lesson amount. REMINDER: Rinks have their own ice fee for participants that ARE NOT included in my lesson fees. Please be aware of each rinks' freestyle or public skate prices before your scheduled lesson. ​ On occasion, ice cuts (Zamboni) may be off schedule and can cause delays or interruptions - you must be able to allow for up to a 20-minute delay or interruption. In the rare case that an ice session begins late due to another event running overtime, or is interrupted for an ice cut, lessons may be adjusted to 15, 20, or 25 minutes (at an appropriate fee) in an effort to accommodate all skaters that have lessons scheduled for the ice session. ​ At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel a scheduled lesson. Cancellations that are less than 48 hours require immediate payment for the full amount of the lesson by clicking here. The cancellation policy is strictly enforced. ​ Every rink has its own rules regarding Freestyle sessions. Please check with the rink and abide by the rules. ​ Note that all skating is at your own risk and all participants (and/or their parents) accept the rink policies, lesson policies, waiver and U.S. Figure Skating 's Parent Code of Conduct by scheduling a lesson.
